Supervisory board
The Supervisory Board has six members. They represent the different aspects of the company.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board studied Physics in Darmstadt. After obtaining his doctorate at the Technical University of Munich, he began his career at Siemens in Munich. In 1973 he was Chief Engineer at Dortmund University and became Professor in semiconducting technology in 1982.
From 1984 until 2005 he has been Professor at the Gerhard-Mercator university in Duisburg. Until 2005 he also headed the Fraunhofer Institute for Micro-electronic Circuits and Systems in Duisburg.
